Unlike single-socket Xeon Gold “U” and “P” variants, the Xeon Platinum 8358 is built specifically for dual-socket and multi-socket systems, providing stronger NUMA behavior, increased aggregate memory bandwidth and broader I/O expansion when deployed in 2S configurations.
